Our client, a hugely progressive software solutions business, based in Central London are looking to bring on board a new Project Coordinator /Administrator. The client is very hot on progression and you can develop into a Project Manager within 12-24 months.

The Project Coordinator /Administrator will be responsible for the administration and organisation of various types of projects in an agile/waterfall environment, from simple activities to more complex plans. The Project Coordinator/Administrator responsibilities include working closely with our Project Managers and Business Analysts (PMO) to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You’ll perform various coordinating tasks such as schedule and risk/issue logging & management, along with administrative duties including maintaining project documentation and taking minutes of meetings.

Role Overview:

  • Proven experience in coordinating projects in line with industry standard project management tools and methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMI and MS Project. PRINCE2 Foundation status, or an equivalent certification would be an advantage.
  • Experience of coordinating projects delivered using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • An awareness of infrastructure and software development methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Experience of and the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and bring individuals together, to ensure collaboration throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Experience organising facilitating meetings/workshops with a range of stakeholders/clients
  • Proficiency in the MSOffice suite and project tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project is essential. Exposure to JIRA would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in an accessible way to both internal and external stakeholders.
