Service Desk Analyst

£25,000 - £34,000 per annum



Our client is a well established technology company based in Nottinghamshire, and they are seeking to add to their support capability with a Service Desk Analyst (Service Desk Problem Analyst, Help Desk Analyst, SQL Analyst, SQL/Data Analyst) to join their busy team.

To apply for this role you will ideally have 3 or more years experience in a similar role, supporting Microsoft SQL queries, Data analysis and ticketing. You will be the first port of call for all issues, and work at both 1st and 2nd line support. You will offer a high level of first time fixes to various SQL issues and queries. 

Key Skills:

  • Ticketing, Analysis, Problem resolution
  • SQL /data analysis – using Microsoft SQL Server querying skills
  • Providing root cause investigation reports
  • Monitoring the Service Dashboard and responding to alerts raised
  • Provide technical assistance, mentoring and training to Service Desk colleagues
  • You MUST have the highest levels of communication, both verbal and written
