Test Engineer - Soap UI (API Testing)

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum



As the Test Engineer you'll be required to analyse, design and implement test cases for their web site(s) and back office systems. As the Test Engineer you will need an technical Automation background and will work well within an Agile team, with a proactive approach to problem solving, ideally with Soap UI skills.

The Test Engineer skillset includes; API Testing (SOAP/REST) using Soap UI as well as other test-based tools including Selenium Webdriver + Automated Java/Ruby/Groovy code, SQL, JMeter within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Test Engineer requirements (or a mixture of):

  • Soap UI with Automation Testing using Selenium Web Driver
  • Experience of test process in an Agile/TDD delivery environment
  • Experience in testing APIs or other non-UI-driven functionality
  • Hands experience coding/scripting test cases using JAVA, Selenium Web driver and Protractor using BDD Concepts
  • Experience of using JUNIT/TestNg for running and reporting
  • Experience of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery frameworks

As long as you have (some) Soap UI experience as well as experience in Automation Testing (Selenium, Java/Ruby) they're happy to train you up in other areas.
