Digitech Snowdon Challenge: Help us Support Charities

Here at Digitech a team of 12 of us will be embarking on a challenge that not only excites us but also daunts us a little too. On the 16th and 17th of July, we will be heading over to Wales to climb Snowdon, the highest mountain in the Snowdonia national park.

Standing at over 3,000 feet, it will not be an easy challenge but it will be a worthy one. We’re taking on this challenge to help support the charities that are close to our hearts. We will be putting ourselves to the test to help raise money for the charities we are supporting.

Two of the charities we will be supporting are Dementia UK and the Alzheimer’s Society. Both charities are a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia.

These charities anticipate that By 2025, 1 million people will be living with the condition in the UK, and many millions more carers, partners, families and friends are affected. The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity that is close to the heart of our Director of Client Services, Sam Foulger.

Speaking on the Digitech Snowdon Challenge, Sam says “Following my father's diagnosis, Alzheimer’s Society have been amazing and helped us navigate the confusing world of adult social care. I am overwhelmed by the support I have already received and am delighted to be doing my bit in supporting this fantastic charity so they can support more families that are struggling to come to terms with dementia.
