The key duties of a quality assurance engineer include developing, writing and executing manual and automated testing plans, highlighting and analysing bugs found during testing and identifying areas of improvement. Key skills include good knowledge of DLT and CI/CD.

DevOps or BlockOps

Acting as a bridge between the software development team and the software operations team, DevOps or BlockOps exist to ensure the whole software development process runs efficiently and effectively.

Key roles include monitoring and maintaining blockchain nodes, developing secure and scalable blockchain infrastructure and looking at ways to improve data reliability and quality. Advantageous skills include strong knowledge of development tools such as Gitlab and experience working with container ecosystems such as Kubernetes.

Front End Developer

Front end development focuses on making the user experience as smooth as possible, by taking the backend data and displaying it in a way that is visually appealing. When it comes to blockchain, the main task of a frontend developer is to take huge amounts of hashes and display them in a readable and appealing format.

Key roles include writing code to create fast, user-friendly web-based applications, optimising web products for all devices and continuously monitoring and testing the end product for bugs and performance errors. Typical skills include JavaScript, HTML, CSS and a good understanding of UX and UI.
