Partly remote with occasional travel to Bath

 

If you are a skilled Digital Designer looking to work on a growing, native mobile app, then our client has the perfect opportunity for you.

 

We are looking for talented Digital Designers to join their Mobile App Design team to work on the GCN products; improving the UX and UI of the App and web properties to increase user experience and interaction.

 

Ideally, you’ll come from a Digital Design background (UX/ UI or similar) and will have worked on a mobile app before. You’ll need to be passionate about user experience and mobile products. Our app is truly innovative and the only thing like it in the sports market, so our client are looking for talented teammates to join us and help to grow the app and web products.

 

The Role

• Develop wireframes and prototypes for frontend
• Designing an app across web, iOS and Android platforms to be user friendly.
• Working closely with key stakeholders to transcribe their vision for the App into credible and appealing UI Designs
• Understanding user needs and translating these to our final products
• Ensuring that the ratings for the mobile app are positive in relation to the look and feel of the UI

 

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Experience working on digital design, either web or App based
• Knowledge of accessibility standards for mobile apps (in particular native android and iOS apps)
• Knowledge of design and prototyping tools e.g Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Protopie, Principle, Invision Studio
• Willing to champion best practices in product development
• Ability to follow decisions throughout the project pipeline, from initial phases through to delivery, and to encourage project completion
