Head of Operational Business Transformation

The Head of Operational Business Transformation is a senior role responsible for all operations readiness aspects related to the platform program and will be key in helping the business make large shifts in technology & associated processes.

Head of Operational Business Transformation Responsibilities:

  • Management of all operational aspects for group platform program, including but not limited to, process transformation/development/re-design, change management and operational adoption
  • Create and foster a culture, across the business, focused on continuous improvement and operational readiness
  • Examines existing processes and evaluates them within the context of organisational goals & technology roadmap
  • Collaborates with other departments to develop, improve and implement process, policies and procedures to drive synergies and business benefit
  • Management of operational readiness team/resources (e.g. Training Lead, Documentation Specialist, Test Lead & Ops Project Manager) to successfully deliver large transformational projects
  • Clearly articulate emerging issues with senior management and get buy in for solutions as required (e.g. additional resources/budget, change in priorities/scope, process change)
  • Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organisational process
  • Maintains high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust across the team & business

Head of Operational Business Transformation Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
  • Lead a diverse team with varied roles and skills
  • Strong communication (written/verbal), leadership & stakeholder management skills are essential
  • Experienced at negotiating, influencing and collaborating with C-suite to drive business priorities
  • Experience using organisational change management, transformation, facilitative leadership, and project management methodologies
  • Prior experience driving change across large business projects
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate, influence and work effectively with a broad cross section of functional areas
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with senior business leaders across various departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to deliver measurable results
  • Able to operate successfully in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and an ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Demonstrates sound business judgement and is supportive of Company’s mission, values and objectives
