IT Support Analyst

London, City of London - Greater London

Project Management & Business Analysis

£35,000 per annum



A leading investment organisation in Central London require an IT Support Analyst to ensure issues raised by staff are dealt with in a satisfactory manner and staff receive a high level of service. The IT Support Analyst will also be assisting with IT projects, producing training materials and user guides. The IT Support Analyst will be acting as first point of contact for all staff, ensuring calls are logged and dealt with professionally and within an agreed timeframe escalating to the appropriate resource where necessary.

IT Support Analyst Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Ensuring staff are kept up to date with the progress of their support cases through regular communication
  • Finding work- arounds for issues that cannot be immediately solved
  • Use and develop existing help desk tool to Identify the best method to record, progress and resolve calls within agreed deadlines
  • Produce monthly reports on logged calls and analyse information with IT Operations ManagerDirector & Facilities Manager
  • Providing 1st line support for hardware, such as, workstations and printers
  • Setting up new users and their equipment
  • Managing the process required for leavers or staff going on temporary leave

IT Support Analyst Skill Set:

  • Windows 7/10
  • Microsoft Office 2013/2016 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Active Directory administration
  • An understanding of basic networking
  • Windows server experience
  • Avaya IP Office Phones
  • Audio Visual experience
  • Small project experience
