Senior Business Analyst - Client Facing, Agile, Web, UX

Project Management & Business Analysis

£60,000 - £75,000 per annum



Global Digital Media / Publishing Giant are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will join a company that accelerate digital transformation and create competitive advantage.

The successful Business Analyst will need to come from a background of client facing positions and a consulting background would be beneficial. The projects are a mixture of external and internal and some clients even come to there offices, if you are needed to visit a client site it’s always in London and a typical week would see you working from home 2 days a week.

You’ll work in close collaboration with account managers, project managers, technical architects and development teams, you will be involved in the definition, development and implementation of solutions. The role will lead the interpretation and documentation of the client’s business needs: running sessions, building rapport and liaising between technical / business roles. You will be expected to guide the client and describe techniques, ensuring that all stakeholders have a shared ownership of the requirements and how they will be implemented.

You’ll provide functional expertise and knowledge of business processes/areas, both internally and for the client. Also aligning requirements to strategic goals and project success criteria. The role will also be instrumental in quality assurance and user testing, ensuring a high level of acceptance and adoption within the client’s business. Experience of Agile/SCRUM, web-based technologies / applications in a business context will be a distinct advantage.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly organised and able to manage individual workload and operate within the context of a team
  • Able to conduct stakeholder sessions: interviews, workshops and presentations
  • Generate documentation including: questionnaires, as is/to be business process models, wireframes, requirements documents, security models and data models
  • Assisting in the identification of potential risks, dependencies and assumptions
  • Able to deal with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Facilitate consensus between technical roles and business stakeholders whilst managing expectation
  • Solid understanding of SDLC
  • Knowledge of user experience design
