As the QA Engineer you'll the ability to "hold your own" within an Agile team as you'll be the first QA Engineer in the UK office. You will have the opportunity to grow a small team beneath you once you're settled and will manage a team of 2-3 off-shore testers in the meantime.
As the QA Engineer you should have experience in performing white box testing using a range of automation frameworks and can demonstrate your ability to create custom test tools/scripts in Java or similar languages.
A range of testing expertise is required, from; APIs, UI, Micro-Services, Regression, system, automation, performance and scalability. You must also thrive in an Agile, challenging and fast paced environment which is going through exceptional growth.
QA Engineer skills summary:
Selenium, JMeter or similar, GitHub/JIRA, Confluence, Cucumber, Java or similar, AWS Cloud and exposure to Microservices, API Gateways, RESTful API’s and No-SQL Databases.
As the QA Engineer you will be responsible for creating next generation and implementing existing, QA strategy, test policy, processes and automation frameworks to ensure all software is scaleable, reliable and of the highest quality possible before being released into the fast paced insurtech market.
