Our client I looking for a technical QA tester who has experience with automation and manual testing to work in expanding test team. The role is to provide technical test expertise and support to client implementations and day-to-day operations of systems for internal and external clients.
The role will entail Meeting the current Manual/Automation Testing requirements and implementation needs of internal and external clients in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with agreed standards and procedures and Working within the constraints which apply both for internal and external clients. Also you will be planning the implementation of the future Technical Test aspects of the overall E2E Test Process within the company.
Execution of the job
·Understand business requirements in order to write test case scenarios and test packs
·Execute testing either manually or through current test automation tools.
·Work in a logical and disciplined manner.
·Produce neat, dated, referenced and fully documented work which is easily reviewed and can be followed up at a later date.
·Produce work within agreed timescales and to agree Quality.
·Be aware of work that may not be included in the fee agreements for clients, escalating any change in scope appropriately.
·Maintain an understanding of changes to pension’s legislation that may impact the functionality of our products / systems and processes / procedures.
·Provide regular work in progress updates to the Test Lead/Project Manager/Portfolio Manager.
·Adhere to the EBIT QA & Test practices and principles.
·Contribute to improvements to the E2E testing frameworks and execution through the Testing Technical Forum.
·Contribute to the evolving Technical Test function within the overall EBIT QA & Test group
·Test Qualifications – ISTQB Foundation with Agile Extension desired.
·A technical knowledge of pensions and legislation.
·Experience of test management, performance test and test automation tooling and frameworks.
·Knowledge of automation frameworks that validate functionality at different levels of the technology stack (e.g. WebService, GUI, Unit).
·Understanding of Agile techniques desirable (e.g. BDD, TDD)
·Identification, management and understanding of Change control.
·Solid working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
