SQL Server Developer, Database Developer

Leading Cheshire based client providing innovative software solutions in the public and private sectors are seeking a SQL Server Developer to join their expanding team who have recently moved to nice modern offices.

My client are successful and very well known Software House who have a big presence across Europe, America and Asia. Working within the Software Development team, this role will streamline the Database Development within a Microsoft SQL Server environment.You will be given exposure to Full Lifecycle Development, and further your personal development within a Microsoft Silver Partner company. You will be the technology specialist within a team in the full lifecycle of all software, be able to understand existing code (maintain / enhance / optimise) and design and implement new features and improve existing features.

Essential attributes and skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of relational database design and best practises.
  • Experience of large scale high use enterprise level databases.
  • A willingness to learn about our specialist security sector products.
  • An enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and a willingness to attend out-of-hours training events and user group meetings.
  • Flourish within a tightly-knit team and environment.
  • Good communication skills and responsiveness.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 / 2017 features and benefits
  • Bonus points for: Data warehouses and analysis cubes / business intelligence, R Services knowledge, Colum store indexes
