Digitech are partnered with a scale-up SAAS business looking to bolster their Data team. The business are a data driven and AI focussed technology firm partnering with well known brands globally, using cutting edge technology to improve customer journeys and provide the firms with exceptional and real time data.
Role
They're seeking a Head of Data who can drive the data strategy and team moving forward from day one. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a scalable, efficient, and secure data platform. This role involves leading a high-performing data team, ensuring alignment on standards of practice and design patterns across the team. 75% of your time will be spent on strategy and people management, 25% on architecture and hands-on.
Required
5 years of commercial data engineering or data architecture experience.
Managing and mentoring a team.
Hands on experience of developing solutions within public cloud (ideally GCP).
Experience of greenfield Data Warehouse implementations, including Data Architecture principles.
Knowledge of data science concepts and ability to promote solutions to production via machine learning engineering.
ETL tooling.
Preferred
SaaS background.
Streaming data technologies.
